“Mindfull” Blazer

Sometimes my sister becomes the advisory voice behind our collections. She praises me, occasionally gives a little “constructive criticism,” and reminds me of the things I must not forget.

One of the reminders she always gives me while creating our Vasarytė collections is this:

“Just please don’t forget, Sister, that people still go to offices and workplaces during summer. Holidays are amazing, but not every beach-inspired look fits the dress code of more formal institutions,” she gently reminds me.

And I listen. Because I agree.

Of course, it would be wonderful if those overheated offices in the concrete jungle could move to sandy beaches for the summer season, but unfortunately, they remain in the same locations all year round — both in winter and summer.

So we have to adapt to them, not the other way around.

And we do.

When choosing pieces for our summer collections, we don’t only create dreamy beach companions — like perfect muslin shorts or little tops twisted into a “birbiziukas” knot at the waist — we also create classic-cut blazers. They are made from thinner, lighter fabrics, while still staying true to their polished, office-appropriate character.
