“Cozy is” knit sweater

The cooler seasons of the year are my styling paradise.

Yes, first of all, autumn and winter are when I can truly indulge in my favourite thing — layering.

And secondly, they allow knitwear to take centre stage. I love knitted sweaters so much that, if it weren’t for my longing for sunshine, holidays, and lazy days by the lake, I might even say I’d happily live in a country where it’s forever golden autumn. (P.S. I’m not entirely sure such a place exists.)

During summer and the warmer days of spring, my chunky wardrobe favourites have to take a well-earned rest and sit out of my outfits for a while.

And isn’t it always the case that the most beautiful and stylish sweaters are also the thickest and warmest ones — the kind you want to wrap around yourself like a soft blanket? You can’t exactly leave the house wearing a blanket (although the idea is tempting), but a sweater with the same comforting feeling? Absolutely.

You’ve probably noticed that, year after year, whenever we begin creating an Autumn or Christmas collection, my thoughts always drift first towards cosy, fluffy knitted beauties. In my eyes, they confidently stand on the very top step of the style podium. And for good reason.
