On an Autumn Photoshoot
After the Autumn–Winter ’25/26 photoshoot had thundered through, and I’d slept off the fatigue, I came back to the office to start shaping the next plans.
Traditionally, Laura—the production manager who goes on set for the shoots—stands behind the scenes and organizes an almost live stream for the boutique girls, sending every photographed outfit straight to their “court” for judgment.
Since we can’t all be there in person, at least we get to see, even if just from the corner of an eye, how things are moving along.
Back at the office, a discussion begins among the girls about which looks from the shoot “struck the heart the most.”
“So, V., what did you personally find the most beautiful?” asks my colleague Jūratė.
Without even catching my breath, I immediately mention the three-piece graphite suit “Shadowline.”
Then I add that the grey-black coat from the second drop looked absolutely perfect layered on top.
A moment later I seem to change my mind and say that the light “Muskatas” set with the “Mistwood” coat is actually my number one.
“Wait,” I interrupt myself, “no—maybe the merino ‘Ginger’ set with red details is actually insanely beautiful.”
By now I’m talking about the three-piece chocolate “Lava Cake” set.
“And the jumpsuit! It’s amazing! And it paired so perfectly with the graphite layers!”
Then I remember that during the shoot we all collectively fell in love with the new “Alpaca” knitwear pieces.
“Oh, I forgot,” I blurt out, “the ‘Once in Italy’ wool jackets were WOW. Especially layered with the suits and the graphite ‘Wolf’ vest jacket,” I finish.
And then it hits me—I’ve just listed almost the entire Autumn–Winter ’25/26 collection as “the most beautiful look.”
I smile.
Autumn is going to be beautiful.
And already loved… even though it hasn’t even begun yet.
V.
