A Note of Explanation:
Very often, when I show an outfit featuring a piece from an older collection—or a garment that found its new home almost immediately—I receive questions like:

What is the price?
When will it be restocked?
Why can’t you sew or knit more?
Why show it at all if it isn’t available to buy?
Are there really still things today that money cannot buy?
We are a slightly different kind of brand.

In one sense, we are just like any other business—we are a company created to be profitable, and earning a little more by selling larger quantities certainly would not hurt us.

The same patterns.

The same already-tested fabrics and yarns.

No additional preparation costs for photoshoots or catalogues.

It would simply mean: make twice as many pieces, and twice as much income comes in.

But this is exactly where we choose a different path from a traditional profit-driven organisation.

Because alongside the tempting simplicity of “quick and easy,” there lives a stronger desire in our hearts:

To create limited pieces—not endless quantities where there is enough for everyone and plenty left over.

We are a Lithuanian brand.

Most of our garments are sold here, in Lithuania—a country that is not very large.

And we value something more than simply having a bigger bank account: we value the desire of the women who trust us to own something that does not come from mass production.

When you feel disappointed because you wanted something and didn’t get it, ask yourself:

Would it feel better if you walked outside wearing your beloved piece and met several other women wearing exactly the same thing?

So why show pieces that are no longer available?

Because that has never been my intention.

But I do have a strong desire to be something more than a brand that simply says:

“I showed it. I sold it. Someone bought it. Done.”

I am building a philosophy of “easy mornings”.

Every day, when I create a new outfit for myself, I try to share it with you too.

Not because I need attention.

Not because I need to fill my time.

I share because I want you not only to know how to purchase our clothes, but also to master the art of combining pieces from different collections.

So that every day you can look fresh and new.

And collect that beautiful kind of compliment:

“You look amazing.”

So I will continue showing them.

Perhaps the same pieces are already living in your wardrobe—but until now, you simply haven’t thought of combining them in that way.

Or perhaps you don’t own those exact pieces.

But maybe the outfit you see will spark an idea—a little inspiration for how you can create something similar using the treasures already waiting in your own wardrobe.

While growing V&V, I have a vision of where I want to take this little creation of mine.

Or perhaps even more strongly, I know what I don’t want it to become:

Just another brand interested only in the size of its profits.

For accepting our differences.

For understanding that even in a world where almost everything can be bought with money…
