Tooth Fairy

Now everything is clear to Patricija.
There is NO tooth mouse!
And thank God!
All her life, it felt so uncomfortable to fall asleep with a fallen-out tooth, knowing that once she drifted off, long-tailed mice would start sneaking around the room, waiting to snatch the tooth from under her pillow and leave money in its place.

Yesterday, after finally managing to get herself invited to big brother Do’s birthday and diving into the candy table—
Patricija’s already wobbly tooth fell out in every direction!

No big deal!
The tooth itself isn’t the problem.
But those sneaking mice at night? Not very appealing.

So before drifting off to sleep with the tooth under her pillow, she quietly whispers:
“Oh, I wish that this time, instead of money, there would be some little thing…”

And what do you think?
Just like that!

During the night, the TOOTH FAIRY visited Patricija’s room!
She took the tooth and left a set of gouache paints with brushes.

A wide smile!
The “mystery” is solved:

A mouse is small.
It definitely couldn’t carry a box of paints with brushes. And also—
Mice aren’t smart.
They couldn’t possibly know that she goes to art class and really wants to paint with gouache.
But a Fairy—she’s magical.
She could know everything.
She could even hear the wish spoken out loud before sleep.
Maybe she was already fluttering by the windowsill with her little wings…
Just waiting with the paints until Patricija, having lost her tooth, drifted off into dreams.
Long live miracles.
And the fairies who wander at night and hear everything!
Who wake up at midnight to the sound of a set alarm.
And quietly sneak—
Oh! Flutter on their wings—
Into their rooms.
Just so that beautiful childhood belief doesn’t disappear yet.

Don’t grow up just yet.
