Exactly 13 years ago.
Today.
For the first time, I became a MOM.

Since then, I’ve been learning to:

Understand without words.

Feel for someone, even when they don’t ask.

Be near when it’s really needed.

Hug when they feel lonely.

Support when they falter.

Encourage when it’s scary.

Exactly 13 years,
My heart “occupied” by a love bigger than I could have imagined.
Exactly 13 years since I realized that loving even more intensely is POSSIBLE.
