“Smart” light blue jeans

Every time we introduce a new pair of jeans into the world, we take a deep breath and wait for your reactions with anticipation.

Will you like them? Will they fit? Will you find ways to style them? Will you fall in love with them?

It was no different with the “Smart” model, which first appeared in our Summer/22 collection.

As a rule, a new style rarely receives the same immediate love as a trusted, familiar jeans model that has been around for years.

And while our long-time favourite “Subtle” jeans had already become a wardrobe staple — a pair you knew so well that when asked “Will you try them on?” you would simply smile and say: “Of course not, I already know them” — almost everyone gave the “Smart” jeans a try.

And what happened next? They became one of our most beloved jeans models.

They confidently took their place between the “Subtle” and “Boyfriend” styles.

Together, these three names became a kind of V&V denim “DO-RE-MI” — our trio of favourite jeans.

Due to the structured, firm fabric of these jeans, we recommend choosing one size larger than your usual size or the size you typically wear in other jeans models.
