“Summer – You Are a Fairytale” Dress

“Will there be something PATTERNED in the collection????”

When I was sharing behind-the-scenes moments from the creation of Vasarytė, this type of question appeared very often. Your sharp eyes would spot this fabric hidden among the creative chaos.

“There will be,” I would shyly reply — but while I was only holding the fabric in my hands (which, by the way, was specially patterned and coloured by a fabric factory according to our request), even I found it difficult to imagine how everything would look once it was transformed into a finished garment.

There was never any doubt that this fabric would become a dress, but the question “WHAT SHOULD IT BE LIKE?” kept circling in my mind for a long time.

The main criteria were:

exceptionally lightweight,
not overloaded with details, because the patterned fabric itself is already the main detail,
designed to please both those who love relaxed, flowing silhouettes and those who want the possibility of instantly transforming it into a beautifully defined-waist dress.
What we created and whether we managed to fulfil all of our goals — that is for you to decide.

But one thing is undeniable: this little dress is filled with summer lightness and gives the feeling of almost forgetting that you are wearing something at all. I said this many times during the Vasarytė photoshoot while photographing it.
