About miracles
“You, Dominykas, don’t say anything,” Pa jumps in ahead of the “events,” right after the usual home routine of “look how beautifully I drew this.”
Brother Do, examining the artwork, stretches a rainbow of smiles from cheek to cheek and almost gets interrupted just as he starts his sentence:
“But why does your unicorn look like…?”
Folding her drawing as she walks away, she adds:
“So what if it doesn’t look like a skinny horse.
IT’S STILL MAGICAL!”
Watching the scene from the side, I smile sincerely, thinking that it’s the same nowadays…
Little “miracles” are often “disguised.”
Sometimes barely visible to the naked eye.
Bent.
Not very clean.
Not perfectly straight.
Irregularly shaped.
Tilted.
Not fully unfolded.
…
But that doesn’t mean they don’t happen.
You just have to look closely.
At the “hidden”
miracles.
Every day.
