No.

You try another combination. Almost right, but not quite.

You take a third piece and look at it together with a fourth.

Then maybe a fifth?

And you sigh deeply.

So many clothes…

And yet nothing to wear.

The frustration rises. The morning nerves, already not exactly calm, start boiling and hissing like a kettle.

And then another thought comfortably settles in:

“Don’t worry, my dear, the struggle isn’t over yet. You still have to choose shoes that match the weather chaos outside and find a handbag big enough to carry everything you need for the day—but at the same time one that doesn’t suddenly fight with your outfit’s colours and style.”

I don’t know about you, but the memories of such mornings are still very alive in my mind.

You leave the house dragging your feet, knowing you wasted precious time, spent a mountain of nerves, and now you are walking down the street dressed in something that feels like “neither here nor there”—while your confidence and good mood stayed behind in the wardrobe.

“Maybe tomorrow you’ll manage,” you hear them whisper from there.

What do you mean tomorrow?

You want to feel beautiful every day, not just on certain lucky mornings.

And so, after returning home from another badly started day, you begin “renovating” your wardrobe.

You promise to throw away everything you never wear.

You promise to prepare outfits the night before.

You promise never again to buy things that are “beautiful, but impossible to combine.”

Yes, my dears.

Clothes are wonderfully complicated creatures.

Each piece has its own personality—its own colour character and its own sense of proportion.

And despite all their individual quirks, somehow they need to learn to live together.

Like a choir that has rehearsed for weeks, they need to sing together in perfect harmony every morning.

Can we help them?

Absolutely.

Those expressive “residents” of our wardrobes need to agree in terms of colours, proportions, and seasons.

That is why we are so deeply attached to thoughtfully created collections.

And regardless of how large a collection is, we usually invite no more than three colours into it.

Every piece spends a long time “getting acquainted” with its future companions.

Believe me, if a blouse matches the colour of your trousers or skirt perfectly, but its length hides the beautiful details of the waistband and cannot be tucked, adjusted, or transformed—those two “colleagues” may not become best friends.

You may simply feel that something looks strange.

And sometimes, the smallest detail—the edge of a blouse gently tucked into the waistband—creates magic.

Legs appear longer.

The waist becomes more defined.

The reflection in the mirror suddenly looks much better.

So how many pieces do you actually need in your wardrobe to feel calm?

I would never say that unless you buy 80% of every collection, your mornings will be difficult.

Absolutely not.

Start by having at least 3–4 pieces in the same colour family that can be layered together.

Trust me, you don’t need three brown sweaters.

Even with the best intentions—or the coldest winter—you won’t wear them all at once.

But a simple brown top, a brown vest, and a brown cardigan or blazer?

That is a completely different story.

Add a simple white T-shirt and those classic white shirts that live in almost every wardrobe—and watch how many combinations appear.

And always think about shoes.

I always suggest having at least one pair of shoes that connects, through colour and season, with several pieces in the same colour family that are perfect for layering.

A collection usually has three colours that, in my eyes, look incredibly delicious together.

Choose at least two.

Choose pieces that can become friends and create outfits together.

For example, if you buy blue trousers and a blue skirt, remember: no matter how beautiful they are individually, they will not magically become a monochrome outfit.

If you choose only a blue vest, remember that outside the summer season a beautiful layered vest needs sleeves to peek out underneath.

So if your heart sings for a one-colour look, think carefully:

Do you already have those perfect sleeves waiting in your wardrobe?

Or should you immediately choose the matching piece that creates that effortless, safe, beautiful duo?

Because once separated, those pieces will give you endless possibilities when combined with other colours.

Whenever you have the time and inspiration.

When a new collection arrives, once again choose a few layering pieces in the same shade.

For example, khaki.

After enjoying their monochrome combinations, introduce them to the colours from previous collections already living happily in your wardrobe.

Start connecting.

And you will see your wardrobe bloom again—with fresh combinations, unexpected colour friendships, and most importantly:

with mornings that feel easy, confident, and beautifully yours.

V.

How to Make Your Mornings Easier?
