We care about quality much more than quantity.

Does it ever happen that we think, “We did everything we could… and somehow it still happened?”

Of course.

But hand on heart—we are constantly thinking about how to create not only beautiful pieces, but garments that last.

We create. We test. We improve.

And we follow one strict rule: we design as if we were making it for ourselves.

We want our clothes to feel effortless—not only when wearing them, but also when caring for them.

But this is where I need to pause.

Because the word “care” should never be forgotten.

Just as we care for our skin, hair, and nails—not simply appreciating that we have them, but actively looking after them—our “second skin”, our clothes, deserve the same attention.

In the upcoming collection, we will once again introduce a beautiful selection of knitted wardrobe treasures.

And if you want them to bring you the same joy and beauty as the day you first brought them home, remember these simple rules that truly make a difference.

1. Merino wool loves gentle washing.
In our Christmas ’24 collection, two 100% merino wool pieces joined the family (the grey and milk-coloured tops).

We love their exceptional quality, softness, lightweight feel, and incredible warmth.

But even in the middle of the night, we should remember:

MERINO WOOL SHOULD NEVER BE WASHED ABOVE 30°C.

Otherwise, tears may follow.

A little warning: don’t trust the tempting thought of “I’ll just wash it by hand.” Warm water can easily become too hot without you noticing. 30°C is a gentle temperature, and the wool cycle on your washing machine can actually be your merino’s best friend.

2. Knitwear does not enjoy hangers.
If you want your knitted garments to keep their beautiful shape for a long time, fold them gently and store them on shelves or in drawers.

I personally break this rule sometimes because I love oversized pieces and often wear sweaters larger than my usual size—so some of mine do hang in my wardrobe.

3. Mohair creates the magic—but it needs understanding.
Many of our knitted pieces include mohair yarn.

It is what gives a sweater that beautiful feeling of being soft, fluffy, and cloud-like.

But mohair also has a habit of leaving little fibres behind.

We spent a long time wondering whether this could be “fixed.”

Unfortunately, after consulting several knitting specialists and testing alternatives, we discovered that removing mohair created heavy, flat pieces without that dreamy softness.

And we decided that we cannot give up the feeling of wearing a cloud.

Our advice?

If your knitted scarf or sweater leaves behind some fibres, take it outside and shake it firmly.

Every one of our knitted pieces goes through a finishing process after production—but sometimes not every loose fibre disappears immediately.

And this season, we are introducing something new: not just ordinary mohair, but super baby kid mohair, which yarn manufacturers describe as exceptionally soft and gentle—even for delicate skin.

We have included 50% of this special yarn in the Snowflake sweater.

When you try it, we would love to hear what you think.

4. Quality fibres still need a little help.
We knit with high-quality yarns and sew with carefully selected fabrics.

Our garments rarely suffer from pilling—but even the best materials can show signs of life in places where friction happens most:

where a car seatbelt rubs,
where bracelets move against sleeves,
where necklaces touch collars,
where handbags rest against the shoulder.
Our advice?

Keep a fabric shaver nearby.

After washing, hold your garment up to the light and check areas that experience the most friction. If you notice the first small signs of pilling, remove them early.

Often, one simple clean-up is enough to prevent the issue from returning.

5. Wash knitwear separately.
Even though washing a full load of laundry is more environmentally friendly, when it comes to keeping clothes beautiful for longer—especially knitwear—washing them separately is worth it.

Don’t skip this step.

A gentle programme doesn’t take long, and washing your knitwear alone, without other fabrics rubbing against it, is a simple way to extend its life.

6. Check pockets and your washing machine drum.
Forgotten hair clips, coins, or sharp objects can cause irreversible damage—especially to delicate fabrics and knits.

7. Protect your wardrobe from direct sunlight.
Sunlight may seem harmless, but over time its invisible fingers can fade and weaken fabrics.

And unfortunately, that damage cannot always be reversed.

8. Be careful with jewellery.
Rings, bracelets, necklaces, and buckles often hide tiny sharp edges that can catch delicate knit patterns.

Before wearing your favourite knitwear, check your accessories.

A small snag may not ruin your garment forever—but it can certainly ruin your mood.

9. The scent of wool.
For many people, it feels warm and comforting.

But if it is not your favourite scent, simply wash your new wool piece according to the care instructions using a wool detergent with a fragrance you love.

The natural wool smell will disappear, and every time the garment warms against your body, you’ll enjoy the scent you chose.

10. “Ouch—it feels itchy.”
Yes, wool has little “teeth.”

For some people, they are barely noticeable. For others, they can feel surprisingly persistent.

Remember: wool is most likely to feel itchy on a warm body.

If you are already overheated and try on a wool sweater indoors just to test whether it “itches,” it probably will.

Wool is designed for cooler-season outfits, and different knits are happiest when worn in comfortable temperatures—not when the body is already warm.

Our tip:

Wear a thin, fitted base layer underneath your sweater.

This simple trick works wonderfully even for many people with sensitive skin.

Take care of your knitwear with love, and it will reward you with warmth, beauty, and many seasons of comfort.

V.

HOW TO CARE of THEM?
