For two half-days, we went on our knees, puffing and sighing as we loaded buckets with those pesky weeds.

With our dirty hands washed and feathers fluffed,
\nwe dashed instantly to the store for our promised reward.<\/p>\n
Running between the shelves, Pa stopped:<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd you? Aren\u2019t you going to buy anything with your share?\u201d

\n\u201cAlright,\u201d says Pa, \u201cyou can use my makeup set too.\u201d
\nWe weeded together.
\nWe\u2019ll put on makeup together too.

\nPa said that blue and yellow eyeshadow would definitely suit me.<\/p>\n
We worked like oxen.
