{"id":17659,"date":"2022-02-16T14:53:39","date_gmt":"2022-02-16T11:53:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/viktorijos.lt\/istorija\/mano-sirdis-priklauso-tau-lietuva\/"},"modified":"2026-03-19T16:39:23","modified_gmt":"2026-03-19T13:39:23","slug":"my-heart-belongs-to-you-lithuania","status":"publish","type":"istorija","link":"https:\/\/viktorijos.lt\/en\/story\/my-heart-belongs-to-you-lithuania\/","title":{"rendered":"My heart belongs to you, Lithuania!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>-Where would you like to live if you could live anywhere? \u2013 I don\u2019t remember exactly who asked me this one day, many years ago.<br \/>\n-In Lithuania, \u2013 I nodded, as if it were obvious.<br \/>\n-Interesting, \u2013 my interlocutor raised an eyebrow at the time and, shrugging, didn\u2019t pursue it further, probably thinking I hadn\u2019t fully grasped the question.<\/p>\n<p>Today, I love trips paused in the present.<br \/>\nI\u2019m intoxicated by the beauty of different countries I\u2019ve visited.<br \/>\nBy incredible weather conditions I\u2019ve experienced firsthand.<br \/>\nBy tasting cuisines from around the world.<\/p>\n<p>But after spending a week in a foreign country, I start missing home and Lithuania.<br \/>\nI enjoy the clearly defined four Lithuanian seasons.<br \/>\nI\u2019m delighted by the people around me in Lithuania.<br \/>\nI love my brand, established in Lithuania.<br \/>\nI take pride in my Lithuanian work team.<br \/>\nI am grateful that someone from above gifted me the ability to express thoughts in Lithuanian so vividly.<\/p>\n<p>And sometimes I think:<br \/>\nWould I be happier sitting under a palm tree, splashing in the Blue Coast, airing my thoughts on an Alpine peak, or savoring the \u201cmost delicious\u201d food in Italy\u2026<br \/>\nThan I am here?<br \/>\nIn Lithuania.<\/p>\n<p>Even though I\u2019ve directly experienced November winds trying to pull my hair or the slow unfolding of spring\u2019s blossoms more than once\u2026<br \/>\nMy heart belongs to you, LITHUANIA!<\/p>\n<p>V.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-17659","istorija","type-istorija","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/viktorijos.lt\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/istorija\/17659","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/viktorijos.lt\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/istorija"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/viktorijos.lt\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/istorija"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/viktorijos.lt\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=17659"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
