\nWe explain things we don\u2019t fully understand ourselves.
\nWe lift them up, even when they are too heavy for us.
\nWe think about them, even when our minds are stuffed with a crazy amount of other tasks.
\nWe feel their moods.
\nWe analyze their glances.
\nFrom their eyes, breathing, and gait, we can predict the day\u2019s successes and failures.
\nWe worry over their small misfortunes an unimaginable number of times more than over our own failures.
\nWe give them another chance, even when we\u2019ve sworn countless times that the last one was the final one.
\nIt hurts us when they are in pain.
\nWe don\u2019t get sick when they are unwell.
\nWe love them even before we first hold them in our arms.
\nIt is never too hard for us.
\nToo late.
\nToo early.
\nToo much.
\nImpossible.<\/p>\n
We abandon our own convictions, principles, and the absolute \u201cNEVERs\u201d we once believed in so fervently.<\/p>\n
Alongside our regular profession, we acquire another one, for which:
\nWe didn\u2019t study at university.
\nWe didn\u2019t take certification courses.
\nWe didn\u2019t attend seminars.
\nWe didn\u2019t learn from textbooks.
\nWe didn\u2019t have the chance to practice in exercises.
\nWe simply\u2014take it upon ourselves and become a professional in another field. Without formal knowledge. Straight from the heart.<\/p>\n
We are\u2014both the most wrong and the most right.
\nBy the usual standards of \u201crightness.\u201d
\nAnd the most right of all, holding in our hands the justification: that we are THEIR Moms.<\/p>\n
